Elena teaches Italian language and culture, as well as Intercultural Studies, at King’s College London. Before joining KCL, she was Assistant Professor at the City University of New York. Her research focuses on the literature and culture of the European fin-de-siècle, but she has an active interest in current narratives such as the representation of health, gender, and national stereotypes in international media.
