Jessica Brown

Originally from Texas and now living in the mid-west of Ireland, Jessica is a novelist and poet. With a MA in English in Boston College and an MFA in Creative Writing from Seattle Pacific University, Jessica is now a PhD student at the University of Limerick, working on a fiction project that integrates her research interests in narrative studies, affect theory, and deep ecology. Along with short creative and academic publications, her poetry collection is And Say, and her children’s novel is The River Boy. She is also on the Governing Council for Thousand Hills International University, a university in development in northeast Rwanda. She loves to hike, especially the hills of County Clare.
