
Meghan is a historian of medieval culture and law, specializing in the history of emotions. She holds an M.Litt. degree from the University of St Andrews and is due to complete her Ph.D. from Duke University in 2022. Her research analyzes the role of emotions in medieval law, politics, and narrative, with a focus on the twelfth and thirteenth centuries. She believes in the power of doing history to question today’s power structures and to show us the richness of human potential.
